Pre-treatment Information
Wear comfortable clothes for your appointment. You will be laying in the chair for about 2 hours.
Remove contact lenses before the procedure as well as all eye makeup. Bring some headphones and any music you may want to listen to during your treatment.
What to expect during your first visit
Upon your first visit for lash extensions, we will have a consultation to determine the shape length of your lashes. Once you decide on the look you want, this is where the fun begins, and the process of your lash extensions come to life.
Your eyes will then be taped to lift and separate your lashes. You will also wear eye gel pads that are an anti-aging treatment and will also secure your lower lashes in position.
You will recline in a lying down position with your eyes closed while the lashes are being placed. Some clients will even sleep during this time.
Post-treatment information
Do not wash around the eye area for at least 24 hours.
Try to stay in upright sitting position while sleeping.
Do not go into heated saunas.
Do not remove eye makeup with oil. Use only water based products. Please ask about a product if you don't have one.
Try not to pick and manipulate your lashes excessively.
Do not use a lash curler. You may use a heated curler if you desire a more curled look. Please ask for this product.
With Xtremelashes, you do not need to wear mascara. But if you choose to, select a water-based one. Please ask about the wonderful Xtremelashes mascara.
